In March 2010, God began to stir my husband’s and my heart; a drawing back to Him. “Whatever it is God, we want in.” Two days after we prayed that prayer, Justin was asked to go to Haiti in April to help rebuild houses.

-God continued to stir-

In May, Justin said to me, “I think we are supposed to move to Texas. I don’t know why or where or when, but yeah.” By God’s grace and provision, we moved to Austin in September of that year. The scariest and biggest step of faith we have made, yet it still proves to be the most rewarding experience and evidence of growth of our lives.

I decided to start a blog simply for the sake of getting my thoughts out of  my head and onto paper, so to speak. Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that I am a stay at home mom and the thoughts that are usually let out are something along the lines of “Get that out of your mouth!” and “Don’t try to lick your brother!” So when I can’t get out of the house and I’m in need of still feeling capable of adult conversation, the posts will flow!
